Association "Ladies Camerata Switzerland" Statutes
According to CC Art. 60
1. Purpose
The Association "Ladies Camerata Switzerland" aims to administer and finance an orchestra composed exclusively of female musicians. Its missions are:
- Promote gender equality in music: combat stereotypes and inequalities affecting women in the music world.
- Support female musicians in their careers: provide advice, resources, and opportunities to help them develop their careers.
- Promote diversity and inclusion in music: support female musicians from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds.
- Support music research and creation: offer opportunities for artists, artist residencies, and support programs for composers who want their works performed.
- Enrich musical life and participate in the cultural radiance of the region.
2. Registered Office
The registered office of the association is located at Rue de l'Eau 30, 2502 Biel.
3. Duration
The association's duration is unlimited.
4. Members
The association consists of active members, benefactor members, and potentially honorary members. Active members are individuals who share the association's objectives and commit to participating in its activities. Benefactor members are individuals or organizations providing financial support to the association. Honorary members are individuals who have rendered exceptional services to the association.
5. Admission
Membership admission is decided by the Committee after reviewing the membership application.
6. Resignation/Exclusion
A member may resign by sending a resignation letter to the Committee. A member may be excluded for the following reasons:
- Non-payment of dues
- Violation of statutes or internal regulations
- Behavior detrimental to the association
- Activities contrary to the association's objectives
- Serious misconduct
The exclusion procedure will be determined by the Committee and notified in writing to the member concerned.
7. Committee
The Committee consists of at least two members elected by the General Assembly for a one-year term. The Committee is responsible for managing the association and implementing its objectives.
8. General Assembly
The General Assembly consists of all association members and meets at least once a year. It is responsible for electing the Committee, approving accounts and budget, and making important decisions regarding the association.
9. Resources
The association's resources come from donations, grants, and revenue generated by its activities.
10. Accounting
The association maintains regular accounting records and prepares an annual budget.
11. Dissolution
In the event of dissolution, the General Assembly will appoint a liquidator and determine the destination of the association's assets. These statutes can be amended by the General Assembly with a simple majority of members present and unanimous approval of the Committee.
